Each year we nominate one of our members as the Small Business Leader of the Year to represent us at the Jax Chamber's Annual Breakfast and to compete as the #1 SBLY overall!

Phil Aitken - Keller Williams - Aitken Home Team

Phil moved to Jacksonville in 1999 with his wife Janet. Together they have three children Danielle, Erica and Michael. Phil also has three grandchildren, soon to be four, who he loves to spend time with. Danielle and her husband Will have two daughters named Haddie and Kate, and are expecting another this summer. Erica and her husband Matt have one daughter named Reagan. 

With over 20 years of business to business sales experience, internet marketing and real estate experience, Phil brings a unique perspective to real estate sales. With Phil’s internet marketing experience, seller’s homes are featured on 300+ websites to gain a competitive advantage with his volume of internet exposure. This allows customers to get their home sold faster, for more money allowing them to keep more of that hard-earned money in their pocket. 

He started working in general Real Estate with Keller Williams in 2014. Phil has been a member of the Associate Leadership Council for 2015, 2016, 2017. As well as a Keller Williams Southside shareholder. When not working, he enjoys the beach, water skiing and spending time with his grandchildren.

    Want to nominate someone for 2020?

    A nominee must:

    • Be a member of the JAX Chamber in good standing
    • Be an owner, partner or shareholder of at least 25 percent of the business
    • Be active in the day-to-day management of the company
    • Be established locally in the same business for at least three years
    • Demonstrate professional business acumen and leadership
    • Have gross revenues of less than 5 million dollars per year for the previous three years

    Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

    Every year we turn one of our breakfasts into an amazing Teacher's Appreciation event. We recognize the five local Arlington schools, their Principals and their Teachers of the Year. We present to them school supplies and paper that we have collected over the past year and a special gift basket from our Arlington Council members.


    Butterfly Festival at Tree Hill Nature Center

    We are proud to be one of the main volunteers of this great, family-friendly annual event. The best places to travel are the wild, natural places of the world and we are happy to support those in our area. Come out to support this event and stop by our table to learn about sustainable, family travel.
