Mission

The Arlington Council's mission is to help Arlington flourish by supporting our community, businesses & schools.

What are the Jax Chamber Councils?

We are one of ten Chamber Councils have served the greater Jacksonville area for more than 50 years. Each Council provides unique programs and activities to promote and improve the business and civic climates of their geographic areas. Any employee of a company that is a member in good standing of the Chamber is eligible for membership in one or more Chamber Councils.

Arlington Small Business Leader of the Year 2020

Each year we nominate one of our members as the Small Business Leader of the Year (SBLY) to represent us at the Jax Chamber's Annual Breakfast and to compete as the #1 SBLY overall!

Katie Little - Allstate Insurance

Since moving to Jacksonville I have discovered that Jacksonville’s size and diversity are wonderful traits. It’s the largest city by area in the continental United States, and all the different neighborhoods are like their own little town. You can meet so many different kinds of people in Jacksonville. The diversity is exquisite.

My agency and my home are in the Arlington area, and I work to help make this neighborhood a special place. I serve on the Arlington Council Board for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, and I am heavily involved in the Joseph A. Strasser Butterfly Festival held each spring at the Tree Hill Nature Center. I also love to organize social networking events with ImpactJAX, the young professionals group of the chamber, where I am currently the Social Committee Chair and have served on the board for over 2 years.

Working with people is one of my passions. I enjoy offering education so that you can make informed decisions about protecting your loved ones.

In my free time, my two kids and I like to spend time at the Jacksonville Beach, and you can often find us wakeboarding or playing beach volleyball. We’re big Jacksonville Jaguars fans; the kids often get decked out in Jags gear before the games. I also play tennis and hold a black belt in tae-kwon-do. Staying busy and up to date with the city has helped me better serve my community and customers

    Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Every year we turn one of our breakfasts into an amazing Teacher's Appreciation event. We recognize the five local Arlington schools, their Principals and their Teachers of the Year. We present to them school supplies and paper that we have collected over the past year and a special gift basket from our Arlington Council members.

Butterfly Festival at Tree Hill Nature Center

We are proud to be one of the main volunteers of this great, family-friendly annual event. The best places to travel are the wild, natural places of the world and we are happy to support those in our area. Come out to support this event and stop by our table to learn about sustainable, family travel.
