Lindsey Brock is a member of the law firm McLeod Brock, PLLC, practicing in maritime, logistics, and commercial litigation, as well as public policy matters. A proud Florida Gator, after his law degree he earned a Master of Laws in Admiralty degree from Tulane University.

He has written and lectured on legal topics throughout the US and the UK.  He is married to Carol Brock and they have two children, son Ethan Connor Brock, currently serving the in US Coast Guard and daughter, Caitlin Tara Brock, who is a graduating senior from UNF in Health Care Administration.

Margaret Dees - SVP of Economic Development & External Engagement, Jacksonville University

With more than 20 years’ experience in higher education administration and law, Dees serves as the Senior Vice President of Economic Development & External Engagement at Jacksonville University where she oversees the University’s external relationships with state and local government and where she acts as University liaison to both public and private economic investment entities, community grant-making agencies, and institutes. 

Council Member Joyce Morgan, District 1 - City of Jacksonville

Re-elected for another 4-year term to the Jacksonville City Council, Joyce Morgan assumes new duties as Chair of the Rules Committee and Chair of the Value Adjustment Board.  In addition, she will again serve on the Neighborhoods, Community Services, Public Health & Safety Committee.  Last year, Morgan was Vice Chair of the Finance Committee.   First elected in 2015, she served as the City Council Floor Leader.  Her uncompromising leadership garnered her the “Charles D. Webb Award”.   That is the City Council’s most prestigious internal award for commitment to public service.  Morgan was appointed Council Chaplain her second year.
